Happy Halloween!

We had our trunk or treat on Wednesday! Andie is a purple witch, if you couldn't figure it out and Ali - well, she is just Ali! We had a great time. Andie didn't care for the games at first, then she realized she would get candy - so she liked them. Then, she didn't want to trunk-or-treat until again, she got candy! We had to open a few to keep her motivated (why get candy and not eat it, right?) Eventually she got to the point of getting to the next car, holding up her bucket, shaking it and saying, "dhank dou" It was fun. We missed Shawn who was at school.

My Twin Nephews

Congratulations Tamara and Garry!!

Shawn's sister had her twins on Tuesday October 21, 2008 around 8pm. As you can see they are tiny! I talked to Garry yesterday and he said that Everett was on a CPAP machine on Wednesday but off it on Thursday. Elden, the little one so far has not needed extra help for his breathing. Tamara was not due until Mid-December, but Elden had not gained weight in almost 3 weeks, therefore doctor's thought it best to get them out before more complication.
Elden 1 lb. 15 oz
Everett 3 lb. 10 oz.

Mom and Dad are doing great and the boys are remarkable! We are so glad you are here!

Lucky #4

Ok - I am doing this post for Katie.
Go to your 4th file, 4th picture, post it and explain it. Then tag 4 friends to do the same.
This is a picture of Shawn at my cousin's baseball game up in Meridian Idaho. (Funny, because Katie's picture was also taken at a baseball game!)Then I wanted to post this picture from the same trip. Shawn and I at the Boise Temple. Yes - I used to be smaller, this was taken before kids (well I was 3-4 months pregnant with Andie!) Still, it is nice to know it can be done!.
I tag Jill, Joy, Elise and Liz

Fun at the Park

Today I had to put a band on TV watching and Internet surfing for Andie and I. I have come to the realization that we each spend too much time starring at some sort of screen. Let me tell you, it was difficult, but well worth the "quality" time we spent. We read books together, sang songs and ended our session by going to the park.

I love this park and it is very close to our house!

I need to know how everyone puts their pictures into a matrix/table format. If you know, let me in on the secret!

Six Flags

We had such a great time this weekend. The RS was going to the temple on Saturday, so I said to our friends Mara and Cory, "Let's take the kids and go to Six Flags after!" So, the boys got up at 6am and went to the 8:00 session at the temple. Mara and I came with the kids at 10, we switched and the boys headed off to six flags and we went with the RS to the temple and then met them there.

It was fun and the girls had a great time. Ali was an angel, hanging out in the stroller all day, she slept most of the day. Shawn said Andie didn't start having fun till I got there. She loved the Flying Boats and screamed every time we got off. It was great though, because we could go get on the next ride - there was never a line.

Shawn was able to ride a few big rides and I rode once. I was okay with it though, because we have Season Tickets for next year, so we can go lots. We are actually planning on going Nov. 1st without the kids! I am super excited. I love roller coasters!

Needless to say - we had a great day!

I caught you....

We have had a great last few days! On Thursday Ali had her 6 month check-up. She was 28 inches tall and 17.5 lbs. She is HUGE!!! I looked up the stats and Andie at her 9mo. was 28 inches tall and 19.2 lbs. I was more surprised that Ali weighed that much, but whatever. She is moving around lots and enjoying life!
Andie found the UNO cards - can you tell?
Just a random picture I thought I would throw in
I made caramel popcorn for the missionaries and I found Andie sneaking pieces....it was so funny!
Her latest "favorite" thing to do is sit in the high chair to watch a movie! She is so goofy!

We love you Mom!!

My mom will hate me for posting this - but to me it is an important event, of which I want to remember. She is having a right hip replacement today in hopes of the answer to her limping leg for the last several years. Doctors have always blamed an angiogram or residual damage from her stroke. However, about 2 weeks ago, she went to see an orthopedic surgeon, who took x-rays and said, It is VERY obvious, you have a few bone spurs and if you replace your right hip you will move and feel like a brand new person! Wouldn't you do it after so much unexplained pain for several years?

So - MOM - Good Luck, we miss you and are sad we are not their to take care of you!! You will do great! Sorry, I don't have more current pictures! Just know that we are thinking about you and praying for you!

LOVE Molly, Shawn, Andie and Ali

Eating Squash....

We have had a rough couple of days. Andie has been SOOOOOO ornery. We attempted park day yesterday and she cried/yelled at all the kids who got near her or even attempted to play on something she was playing on (like the entire jungle gym). I thought, REALLY, am I ready for the terrible twos? So, I bowed out gracefully and said, "Guess we will try next week!" She has been so emotional over EVERYTHING, mean to Ali and just not a happy camper.

I was talking to my sister and she suggested, "Maybe she is getting her 2 year molars!" I hadn't even considered that. So I checked and guess what??!! Andie is getting her two year molars! Her gums are beat red, swollen and she really cried out when I tried to touch them. What a smart sister I have. So, I put some orejel on them and what do we have - our happy little Andie back! Thanks Jill - I would have just made her suffer through, had a long few weeks and been irritated throughout it all.

Ali on the other hand has learned to imitate Andie's crying and screaming and thinks it is funny! She continues to grow without my permission and has found the stairs to be her new toy! I have two crazy little girls - but I love them!

Do you want in?

Yes - we are taking the step of making our blog private. I understand that it is perhaps an "annoying" step to sign in to read about our adventures, but it is better to be safe. If you want in, leave me your e-mail and I will send you the invite. We will make it official within the next few days.

You can also e-mail me if you would like. schmolls1@hotmail.com I will explain in more detail why we are going private to anyone who asks.

Thanks Friends!

Since Ali is almost crawling she disappears rather quickly. I often find her in the kitchen, bathroom, under the dining table, computer room, etc. Today however was a new place. I couldn't help but laugh and sad I missed her getting into her spot, but "caught" her escaping! Tumble
Notice where Andie keeps the books
"Get down and give me 10!" Ali loves doing push-ups!
Happy 6 months Ali!!

Rainy Day

It has been raining ALL day so we can't go out to play. I opened the front door and Andie was fascinated by the rain. She watch it for abut 5 minutes and then decided to venture out. The pictures tell the rest of the story!
It's Raining...what should I do?...
Will my mom be mad if I step outside? Maybe if I smile innocently I'll be ok...
What if I reach my hand out?...
Will she let me duck my head?...

WOW - She is letting me play! Ok - I will have fun!...
