Andie turns 3!!!

We had such a fun day with Andie on Friday. I can't believe she is three!! She was very excited and as most of you know....Everything was PINK.

We all wore pink, we had pink pancakes for breakfast - a pink cake, with pink frosting, pink ice cream and a pink drink.

In the morning, we had friends over and had a party - with lunch and cupcakes (the balloons from her cake!) They enjoyed playing pin the pedal on the flower! We had mickey mouse chicken nuggets and peaches for lunch! Andie had a great time.

Later in the evening, we ordered pizza and then had our friends over - the Clark's and Kofoed's. She was spoiled once again - when they surprised her with presents. Thanks guys!! We sang happy birthday to Andie and then put them to bed and played games.

We played 3 new games...Monopoly Deal (which I am going to have to buy, so we can practice and beat Mike when he gets back!)

Jungle Speed - which was a blast....just make sure your fingernails are trimmed!

and Blockus 3D - Yeah...again, I still need practice!!

We had a great day - Happy Birthday Andie!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Andie!!

Elder PRATT!!!!

We were fortunate enough to see my little brother today - for a few short hours. He had a layover - on his way home from his mission. He flew into Atlanta, from Chile - on his way to Russia to see my parents. He was here for 6 hours - but that was long enough for us to steal him away for a few!!!
This was his first time meeting Ali. When he saw the girls he said, "Wait, which one's which?" It was funny. She sure loved him and was not shy at all!!
Andie was SOOOOO excited to see uncle Tys!!! However - I think she was a little disappointed to find out that we were not going with him "on a mission to Russia" to see grandma and grandpa. She was ready to go - pajama's and all!!
Here's a little surprise we shared with Tys!!! YES - you read correctly....baby #3 is on the way!! I am 15 weeks along and due June 7th!! SO FAR AWAY......
The girls got a sticker from Korean Air as we were helping Tyson check back in - they were packaged and ready to go with him!!!Shawn, Tyson and the girls. This is right before we had to part again and Tyson went through security!!
Andie wanted to take our picture. We sure love you TYSON and hope that you enjoy your trip to RUSSIA!!! Thanks for stopping in Atlanta for us!!!

What a great day!! Yes - we were up and at them at 4:45am - but well worth it. We stopped by Costco on the way home - which always makes me feel at home. We also stopped by the Doctor's office - to find out that Andie has pink eye - in both eyes....sorry Russia - hope you don't get it.

We ended our eventful day receiving 3 Christmas packages in the mail!! Thanks to all our family....we are so blessed and love and miss you all!! Merry Christmas.

PS - Feel free to consider this our Christmas Card to you.....hehehe.

The Oven

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and loads of fun. However - did I ever pull out the camera? Nope. Oops. Shawn's brother Cade and his family came into town. Andie and Ali loved playing with Sky and Kayala....and we loved hearing them and watching them. They were quite hilarious.

We also got to take care of our friends animals for the week. We fed 4 horses, 2 cows and collected eggs from the chickens. It was a fun family experience!! I really enjoyed it!!

We had a wonderful turkey dinner and lot's of stuff on the sides - it was all delicious!! I just wanted to post the after math of Thanksgiving - because yes - I did take pictures!!!Isn't that disgusting? Let's just say the butter started spitting after about an hour the turkey was in. It smoked and then was fine. However - I had to clean the oven before I could bake anything else. So - we haven't used the oven since Thanksgiving.

This week I finally sprayed it down. Here is the result after an overnight soak "for heavy spills" Let's just say - I miss having a self cleaning oven - and yes - it is now on the list of things to own someday!
After another over night soak - lot's of scrubbing - and a third coat - 2 hour soak - this is the best it's going to get. Much better than the start - if I say so myself. I am pretty sure it's cleaner than when we moved in.
Finally - you can only imagine the dripper pans were just as dirty. So, this morning, I took them off, sprayed them with the oven cleaner and set them in the sink. I ran some errands and came back to find NO dripper pans in the sink and brand new one on the stove!!!!
Shawn? Are you home? I call Shawn - he's at school. Who else can get in? So I called our property managers. I said, "Thank you for the Christmas Present?" She said, "What do you mean?" I said, "I went to the store - I was cleaning my dripper pans on the stove and I came home to brand new dripper pans" She said, "Really?" I said, "Yes - Thank you!! I almost bought new ones, but decided not too!" Then she laughed - "I'll tell them you said thanks - they were supposed to go in the unit next door."

So - blessings from heaven - I'll take 'em!!

Happy Holiday's!!!

Ali

I have been thinking recently - that I never have pictures of Ali - only Andie.
If you know Ali enough - then you understand....MILK!!

Then I was looking at my pictures of Ali and this is why I don't post pictures....she is just a goof ball. But I love her to death....so, I'll take what we get.

What a funny girl!!
Love you Ali Girl....my "big girl!"

Disney On Ice

Back in October - mid....we took the girls to Disney on Ice, Celebrations. It was such a fun time. The girls LOVED it and were captivated the whole show. I didn't take many pictures while we were there - but we had a great day.
We had great seats and with the help of an online code - they were only $10!!!
Last time we were in Atlanta, we stopped at Costco on the way home. When we were getting on the freeway after enjoying our "costco dog" we saw this...It was so yummy! If you've never been to a Chipotle, you are missing out. I wish we lived closer. After another hour drive from lunch, we were ready for a treat - so we stopped at McDonald's for an ice cream cone. Let's just say - the girls LOVED them! Here is the only video I took of Disney On Ice. What a fun day!!

Trunk or Treat

Where has the time gone? Everyday I think, I need to go get my camera and post pictures - oh well - finally today I have time.

Here are the girls dressed up for Halloween. A HUGE thanks to our friend LeAnn for owning dress-up clothes. I am not one to spend money on costumes - yep - I'm cheap.

Here is "Cinderella" ready for the ball. We curled her hair and she got to wear "pretty-pretty" on her eyes and lips! She looked so cute!
Here is our little butterfly fairy before. She had woke up in the morning with a 101 temperature. We gave her tylenol and she was fine. She took a nap and woke up BURNING - 102 this time. Gave her more tylenol and off to the truck or treat - she had a great time.
We're Ready to go "TRICK OR TREAT!"

Yes - I like to stick out my belly - and yes - I like food! :)
They got lot's of candy and had fun playing little carnival games. Andie won a cupcake and was excited to eat it.

This was the extent of our Halloween. Andie did stick on Ali's butterfly costume and we walked over to Mike and Heather's on Halloween night - they had fun entertaining the crowd for a bit. Then we came home, put the girls to bed and Shawn and I watched a movie. Pretty relaxing night!

Life is Busy!

Well - just when you think your life can't get much busier - you are proven wrong. On Sunday I was put in as the 2nd Counselor in the Relief Society Presidency. YIKES!! I am the counselor over "Relief Society Meetings" formally know as enrichment. So - life has become busier - scheduling meetings and coordinating with Shawn and his meetings.

Our poor kids...oh well - we are excited to serve where we are called and know that our lives are in the Lord's hands - so who can complain?

It's Happened...

Shawn and I have been discussing Christmas ideas and needs vs. wants. He asked, "Do the girls need clothes?" I said, I will let you know soon. It is time we pull out the long pants and see what fits.

Today, that's what I did. I knew there would be a day when Andie and Ali would be wearing the same size clothes...I just expected it when they were 4 and 5 years old...or 3 and 4 years old!! NOT at 18 months and 33 months old!! YIKES. However, it is official. Today as we pulled out last season's long pants and shirts - Andie fit into them and Ali did NOT. Why? - of course, Ali wouldn't fit into her last season clothes - but she didn't fit into Andie's either.

So - I am on a mission to find pants and shirts for Ali, while Andie can probably last till her birthday with what we have. I guess Ali is tired of hand-me-downs and we will pass them down to Andie now. hahaha

PS - Ali's stats for 18mo. were 30 lbs. and 35 inches tall. 98% (Last Thursday)
Andie's stats for 33mo. are 35 lbs. and 38 inches tall. (Today, at home)

Family Pictures

We had a neighbor snap some pictures for us on Saturday. They turned out pretty well - and definitely a LOT cheaper than going somewhere!!These were taken in our "backyard" so to speak and the side of our building - hence the red brick.

My sister-in-law, Liz, made the skirts and shirts for the girls. I love them. What a surprise! Thanks Lizzy - everyone thinks they are so cute!!
