Andie turns 3!!!

We had such a fun day with Andie on Friday. I can't believe she is three!! She was very excited and as most of you know....Everything was PINK.

We all wore pink, we had pink pancakes for breakfast - a pink cake, with pink frosting, pink ice cream and a pink drink.

In the morning, we had friends over and had a party - with lunch and cupcakes (the balloons from her cake!) They enjoyed playing pin the pedal on the flower! We had mickey mouse chicken nuggets and peaches for lunch! Andie had a great time.

Later in the evening, we ordered pizza and then had our friends over - the Clark's and Kofoed's. She was spoiled once again - when they surprised her with presents. Thanks guys!! We sang happy birthday to Andie and then put them to bed and played games.

We played 3 new games...Monopoly Deal (which I am going to have to buy, so we can practice and beat Mike when he gets back!)

Jungle Speed - which was a blast....just make sure your fingernails are trimmed!

and Blockus 3D - Yeah...again, I still need practice!!

We had a great day - Happy Birthday Andie!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Andie!!

Elder PRATT!!!!

We were fortunate enough to see my little brother today - for a few short hours. He had a layover - on his way home from his mission. He flew into Atlanta, from Chile - on his way to Russia to see my parents. He was here for 6 hours - but that was long enough for us to steal him away for a few!!!
This was his first time meeting Ali. When he saw the girls he said, "Wait, which one's which?" It was funny. She sure loved him and was not shy at all!!
Andie was SOOOOO excited to see uncle Tys!!! However - I think she was a little disappointed to find out that we were not going with him "on a mission to Russia" to see grandma and grandpa. She was ready to go - pajama's and all!!
Here's a little surprise we shared with Tys!!! YES - you read correctly....baby #3 is on the way!! I am 15 weeks along and due June 7th!! SO FAR AWAY......
The girls got a sticker from Korean Air as we were helping Tyson check back in - they were packaged and ready to go with him!!!Shawn, Tyson and the girls. This is right before we had to part again and Tyson went through security!!
Andie wanted to take our picture. We sure love you TYSON and hope that you enjoy your trip to RUSSIA!!! Thanks for stopping in Atlanta for us!!!

What a great day!! Yes - we were up and at them at 4:45am - but well worth it. We stopped by Costco on the way home - which always makes me feel at home. We also stopped by the Doctor's office - to find out that Andie has pink eye - in both eyes....sorry Russia - hope you don't get it.

We ended our eventful day receiving 3 Christmas packages in the mail!! Thanks to all our family....we are so blessed and love and miss you all!! Merry Christmas.

PS - Feel free to consider this our Christmas Card to you.....hehehe.

The Oven

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and loads of fun. However - did I ever pull out the camera? Nope. Oops. Shawn's brother Cade and his family came into town. Andie and Ali loved playing with Sky and Kayala....and we loved hearing them and watching them. They were quite hilarious.

We also got to take care of our friends animals for the week. We fed 4 horses, 2 cows and collected eggs from the chickens. It was a fun family experience!! I really enjoyed it!!

We had a wonderful turkey dinner and lot's of stuff on the sides - it was all delicious!! I just wanted to post the after math of Thanksgiving - because yes - I did take pictures!!!Isn't that disgusting? Let's just say the butter started spitting after about an hour the turkey was in. It smoked and then was fine. However - I had to clean the oven before I could bake anything else. So - we haven't used the oven since Thanksgiving.

This week I finally sprayed it down. Here is the result after an overnight soak "for heavy spills" Let's just say - I miss having a self cleaning oven - and yes - it is now on the list of things to own someday!
After another over night soak - lot's of scrubbing - and a third coat - 2 hour soak - this is the best it's going to get. Much better than the start - if I say so myself. I am pretty sure it's cleaner than when we moved in.
Finally - you can only imagine the dripper pans were just as dirty. So, this morning, I took them off, sprayed them with the oven cleaner and set them in the sink. I ran some errands and came back to find NO dripper pans in the sink and brand new one on the stove!!!!
Shawn? Are you home? I call Shawn - he's at school. Who else can get in? So I called our property managers. I said, "Thank you for the Christmas Present?" She said, "What do you mean?" I said, "I went to the store - I was cleaning my dripper pans on the stove and I came home to brand new dripper pans" She said, "Really?" I said, "Yes - Thank you!! I almost bought new ones, but decided not too!" Then she laughed - "I'll tell them you said thanks - they were supposed to go in the unit next door."

So - blessings from heaven - I'll take 'em!!

Happy Holiday's!!!
