Olive Garden

I went to lunch today with my friends LeAnn and Mara to Olive Garden. It was so yummy - not exactly Weight Watcher's friendly, but definitely worth the opportunity to get out of the house with no kids! I tried their new soup - Chicken and Gnocchi and I thought it was great!! Plus, who can resist their bread sticks and salad? It was so yummy. Thanks Shawn for watching the girls and letting me get out of the house for a few hours!

PS - For those of you interested, I found out the nutritional values and one bread stick is 3 pts.; 1 salad portion is 4 pts. I am comparing the soup to another chicken and gnocchi recipe and it worked out to 4 pts. per serving!!

I didn't know you were doing weight watchers... how is it going? How much for a full bag of Halloween candy? :)

Glad you got to have a nice lunch bunch with your friends, you deserve it. It sounded very yummy!

That's one of my favorite places to go with family and friends.

My sis, Mary went out to eat at The Pizza Factory w/ 2 of her kids the other day. Too bad there's not one of those there. ;( Another great place to eat. ;)

Good job to your hubby for letting you get some girlfriend time! So good for sanity, right? Care to share the gnocchi recipe? Sounds yummy!

So you're doing Weight Watchers? How is it going for you? I am giving it a try again also. Thanks for figuring out the points for me. Know if you could just do that for me everyday it would make my life so much easier :) Good Luck! Keep me posted on how it's going and let me know if you find any great recipes that are low in points!

I LOVE gnocci (sp?)!! I had a friend in college who served his mission in Italy and would make it for us - so YUMMY! And wow, that salad is more points than I would expect- dang! Can't believe how big your little Ali is getting! And I've kinda lost my enthusiasm for blogging too! I felt a little addicted to it, so I'm encouraged by you admitting to loosing some enthusiasm too. I need to spend more time with my girls too! Good for you!
