-Printed out 80 Invitation for the RS Birthday Celebration Enrichment Activity
-Assembled 30 RS invitations
-Attended choir practice (I just joined the Meridian Women's Choir - a community choir to try and meet more people out of the church)
-Enjoyed 1/2 of a Chicken Pesto Pizza from Schlotzsky's Deli
-Drove to Commerce
-Went shopping at the outlet malls in commerce (who knew there were so many 30 minutes from me?)
-Assembled 50 more RS Invitations
-Made Honey Dijon Chicken for dinner
-Went to book club (yes, I have also joined a book club)
-Enjoyed a new cookie, lemon/kurrent - It was yummy
-Game home and laughed with Shawn at funny things people say on FB and their blogs
-Went to bed

-Hearing how fun my parents enjoy Russia - and how lost and confused they will be in the beginning - no worries, I felt the same way when I went to LA and people started speaking Spanish!

-Having fun days with my two crazy little girls!

-To have a garage, because we will finally own a home someday

Called to Serve...

Here they are!! The newly called mission presidents to Russia Vladivostok!!! I must say, they are going to be a FUN mission mom and dad! Look for their picture in the Church News sometime over the next few months!!

What can I say - I LOVE MY MOM AND DAD!!!!

WE'RE COMING TO UTAH!!!!!!!!

So - a HUGE thanks for my wonderful husband for going to the Stake Youth Dance tonight. I always complain that he has to go, BUT - I am so glad he did! He called in the middle of it and said, "Hey, I was talking to Sister Johnson and she said that tickets to Utah were only $120 round trip on travelocity today!"

I said, "WHAT??????????" I logged on as soon as possible and what did I find? CHEAP TICKETS TO UTAH!! So, I booked tickets for Andie, Ali and I - we are going June 2 and returning home on June 25 - all for the price of $348!!!!!! Can you believe it? I paid more for Shawn to fly by himself than for both Andie and I. It said our tickets were $113 and then taxes and fees on top of that. I still can't believe it!

Hopefully Shawn will know his schedule soon and he can join in the fun!! I am so grateful for GREAT DEALS!!!

See you all in June!!!

2005 Dodge Grand Caravan

YEAH!!!! We got a Van....and I LOVE IT!!! I love not bending over to put the girls in and out of their car seats...I love clicking a button and the doors open and the back opens....I love sitting higher on the road....I love all of the upgrades....I love the price....and I just LOVE having a minivan!

I know, I know....everyone wants to see pictures but I haven't gotten around to it yet...however, click here and you will see the listing we saw!


So, although in my teens, I swore I would NEVER own a minivan, I was an "SUV" type gal...times have changed and I love my Van! We are so blessed!!

CONGRATULTIONS!!!!!!!!!

Although, it has been on my mom's blog since Friday - I was told I had to wait for today!!

The church news information is FINALLY released! YEAH....although not yet in the church news, you can now know what you are looking for.

My parents have been called to serve as Mission Presidents. WOW - Where too? How about Russia, Vladivostok! Yeah, no worries, I hadn't heard of it either! If you look on a map, they are right near the border of China and North Korea - that's a safe place, right?!?! haha

Anyways, currently the call is for 2 years, because it is so....I don't know....out there - but if they love it, they might be able to extend for 3 years. Knowing my dad, we'll see ya in 3 years!!

We are very excited for them and know they will be great!!! I can't help but think of my mission president and absolutely LOVE them - so it is exciting that my mom and dad will have the same opportunity to teach and help so many missionaries.

So, if you speak Russian, stop by the house and quiz them!! See how they are doing! haha! This also means that I will be seeing you all in a few months - we hope to come and wish them off! So, we need to plan friend dates as well!

Good Bye Car!!!

Well....(sob, sob) My car is gone! Really, I have no car. We sold it today!! It was good, I had just posted last Saturday on Craig's list and today is day 6 - someone bought it.

It was a great little car - and we are expanding to a van!! Yipee!! I just have to find one now! Thanks to our good friends Cory and Mara, we are borrowing their 2nd car for the time being! We owe them big time!!

Alright, Goodbye Georgette! (just kidding, it didn't have a name, but it was a GREAT car)

Spring-time in February!!

We have had AMAZING weather this past weekend and I am glad to report - we have been healthy for 4 days now!!! Wa-hooooooo! We have been to the park and played on the slides and swings (which BOTH girls LOVE). We haven't needed out jackets and it has been a wonderful last few days.
Andie got some new "Dora" shoes. We are excited to wear them in Orlando when we go to visit Mickey Mouse and friends (only 1 more month!)Ali enjoys just hanging out and playing with whatever! She is so sweet!
We also enjoy reading books together. Georgia has an awesome program where each girl gets a free book in the mail every month until they are 5 years old! They have each received a different book that fits their age. This past month we have enjoyed reading, "Lull-a-Bye, Little One" and "Piggy's Like Potatoes!" After today's high of 73 degrees - I really hope it stays this way all year round! It is perfect!
