Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow

"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!" No, I am not a few posts behind, it just decided that it wanted to snow in March! I have loved the winter and the "lack" of snow we have had. So, on Sunday, when it decided to all come at once, I was not as thrilled as my neighbors!
Starting to stick...a half hour later
About an hour later we saw this...
And ended up double this (I didn't take a picture, because by then we had no power and I wasn't thinking of picture taking!)
The snow knocked our power out for 4 hours. We enjoyed dinner by candle light. Some of our friends were without power for 30+ hours!! No fun at all!
Lesson Learned - we need to have more water in storage (in case the water was bad too)...It would be nice to have a lantern for light....and we need a car charger for our cell phones.

Wow that seems like a lot of snow for Georgia... is it?! Good lessons learned. I've been thinking a lot about emergency preparedness and I've been updating our 72 hr kits. I should get lanterns too!

I guess I'd better do my tag... I'm assuming I'm the Natalie?!

Wow is right!!! That's absolutely crazy...snow in Atlanta, and in March nonetheless. Did you let your girls go play in the snow? What did Andie think of it?

As long as it is just one storm, it can be kinda fun don't you think? Although, Spring fever is really setting in around here. Molly, you look so fabulous! You are gorgeous!

Snow in Georgia. What?!? I thought it hardly ever snowed there. LOL

We're expecting snow here in Utah tomorrow through next week off and on. I'm not looking forward to this. I want Spring to be here for good. None of this Sprinter business-Spring + Winter.
